Our intention in writing this blog is to share our personal experiences traveling throughout Costa Rica as we explore different places where we might choose to live for several months each year. We also provide other information that might be of interest to both those wishing to visit Costa Rica for a vacation and for others who are considering moving here.

Hi Bill…you are welcome to stay in our second bedroom if you plan to be in Atenas. Just give us a call and we can arrange to have a taxi pick you up at the airport or if you plan on renting a car we can give you directions to our place. Look forward to seeing you soon.

Hi folks glad to hear you are settling in ok…I love the pics of the mudslide …just like you said …now lets see how long before someone removes it …I wonder if a 4X4 would make it navigable ?…could be an adventure in itself…lol I am planning to be down there around the 15-18th …I will search out a ticket today….will you have any space for rent around this time ? this trip will be a reconnaissance mission …checking everything and places mostly Jaco Beach and Coco Island and over to Limon…
